Source code =/= HTML on Wordpress

I want to edit a code that I found on my source code when I ctrl+U on my website. But when I go to my editor on wordpress, it doesn't show it. Most of the codes like my pages html to set a nofollow, changing my google analytics all doesn't show up on my html editor on wordpress but shows up when I view the source code of my website.

I google search it up and no one seems to ask this question.

  • First of all, do you mean the WordPress Posting Editor or do you mean the Theme Editor - two different things?

    I would suggest you perhaps use firefox and get Firebug or if you prefer google chrome and use the firebug light version so you can more accurately inspect your page codes.

    You want to edit links in your wordpress site to be nofollow and also edit your google analytics code, right?
    you don't see google analytics code when you edit your theme files, right?
    Does your theme have an option/plugin to insert google analytics code?

    You need to provide more info about your theme/website so we can help you better.

      I don't think so. I'm using heatmap v5 as my theme.

      I'm not sure what info do you want me to provide. Cause from what I know most of the themes don't have any special access to edit the source code straight which is what I want to do.

      1) Edit analytics code (which I can't view in my html editor on wordpress)
      2) Add rel=nofollow to pages on my website (which I can't view in html editor too)
