I starting up a local business offering basic, but professional looking websites to local businesses.

I'll be using WordPress and I'm looking for WordPress themes/templates that will probably have 2 or 3 pages, eg: home page, contact and about pages for services like:

plumbers
electricians
beauty salons
etc

I've been searching around, but haven't found anything that hits the spot yet.

Ideally, it would I'd like to find a package that includes all the nice looking images appropriate for the business.

Any suggestions are gratefully accepted.

Why don't you try the guys at elegantthemes.com, they have some really cool stuff thought it's geared more towards creatives.

If you're not satisfied, try Genesis from studiopress.com, I think.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm familiar with Elegant Themes, Genesis other similar frameworks, I'm really looking for a complete package, so I don't have to hunt down suitable images and spend time customising each theme.

templatemonster.com seems to have some reasonable templates, although if I get 6 or so templates, it becomes a little expensive.

I'll keep looking through their stuff to see if I can see some good options.

Dreamtemplate - it's like 50 bucks or so a year for full access. Probably your best option.

I've checked out all the suggestions, and at this stage I'm thinking I might go down the Genesis Framework path.

Graphic Designer. I bridge the gap between a great story and the audience it needs to reach.

Good luck with Genesis! They make some amazing themes. I personally love the Clickbump products because they are so fast. Definitely consider the load performance of your theme.

I'd say you could get a framework with the ability to customize Header image/slider, and go from there. Or simply do it the easier way:

K2 or atahualpa themes - I can't stress this enough: these are 2 of the BEST themes ever made. People want paid themes, seo themes, etc etc when these 2 are free and they simply rock the rankings when set properly.

Hey, I code my own stuff, develop my own themes, code themes to sell, and this is my honest opinion. Take it or leave it...

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

I would navigate to themeforest and choose a theme that fits. Then I would either search for how to get it for free or buy it directly from them. When it comes to themes, its all about preference. You should see what the most successful people are doing and mirror their themes. Just math theirs up with ones on themforest or a similar premium theme site and you'll be successful to.Good luck to ya mate.
