need help with WordPress and html files

Hi folks,

First off, I have no background in coding and design and can only log into my WordPress admin and create posts, publish content.

This is my situation:

I have a squeeze page built on a domain with WordPress - it's published as a page.

Now, I got hold of PLR files which are in html which I would like to use in my opt in sales funnel (OTO page, downsell page, download page). My challenge now is how do I make these files work with WordPress being on my domain? Is this safe to do?

Here's what I would like to happen:

Say I have mydomain.com which is a 1-page WordPress site containing my opt in form. After sign up, I would like my subscriber to go to:

mydomain.com/OTO.html, then after buying they go to mydomain.com/download.html, or if they don't buy what is offered on the OTO page, they are directed to mydomain.com/downsell.html

How do I do that considering I have to use the html page files and not have to create WP pages for each of those?

Hope you can help me with this. Thanks in advance!

    Hello my friend..

off course it is safe and easy too my friend..

first after creating homepage with your subscription form (with wordpress)
you can upload other html pages to your server

after it is done, you can go to appearance -> menus
wordpress version 3.0 + having custom menu features. you can create menus
and set the URL destination to wherever you want.

with this method you only need to create homepage only (with wordpress)
and the rest will be your HTML page

and for page redirect, after people do subscription, i think you can set the page redirection from your subscribe/newsletter service provider.
usually they have an option for page redirection after people do subscription.

    hope it can help you

    cheers

      Thank you very much, Faisal!

So are you saying that all I need to do is upload the html files (the OTO page, the downsell page, the download page) to the domain's WordPress root directory (or is that the public folder?) and that would be good to go?

Yes, Loloy, you can upload any .html file to the same directory where WP is installed.

And disregard all that nonsense above about setting up menus: no sane webmaster wants their oto, thankyou, download page in any menu

Thank you, Istvan! I have done exactly that and it's working.

My problem now is that the Exit Splash redirection script isn't working on the OTO page (which is supposed to redirect to a discounted price of the OTO when the button "Stay on this page" is clicked).

The script is on the page, I see it in the source code. But it isn't just working.
