Ripping a Site

My question for the Pros her how do you make a copy of a customers site or you own if its html not wordpress?

I want to help a client that has a site now 300 pages and needs it backed up and taken to another server after some updates.

Lastly curious what some of you here charge to do something like this?

    You use ftp. Go directly in the server and download the files to a folder. Then upload the files to a new server.

    Downloading the files and uploading them is usually not much effort I would not charge them much. Now updating the pages is a different story but that is up to you and how well you gauge your client.

      Go to fiverr and you will find someone on there to do it. That is what I have done.
