A great resource to learn?

Anyone have some great resources they can point to in learning web design? I made a few sites with WordPress, but nothing really advanced and understand a little CSS.

CSS is great to learn, I would also learn illustrator and photoshop. They are great resources to learn because you can use them for anything

This is an indispensable resource, the official site: W3Schools Online Web Tutorials

Another cool resource is this: css Zen Garden: The Beauty in CSS Design which shows what you can do with CSS. Fun to browse the amazing designs there.

If you want to spend $$$ get Adobe's Creative Suite and go to town with all their training. Then there's Total Training, or Lynda.com.

Finally, there's always Google!

Well, same as others above..
I 100% suggest w3school..
they have live test too... we can test the code first

W3school is great resource to learn but if you wish you can take guidance from an experienced and skilled web designer and work on some live project which build your basics..

w3schools is obviously a great site but for a wide range of web design tutorials but I often use pixel2life.com

I would also be looking at css3 which has some cool elements. A good site for this is css3please.com
