prestashop is good choice for ecommerce
it's powerful for simple to complicated ecommerce store and have great community support too

For all my Ecommerce work I either use Magento or Joomla!+Virtuemart. I used prestashop a while ago but found it was 'lacking', but that was a while ago and it has probably improved by now.

If you are familiar with Joomla, then adding Virtuemart to it is your best best. If no experience with Joomla, I would recommend Magento - I find it fairly easy to use and there are a lot of free/paid quality templates out there.

I've been using BigCommerce with great success. It can be tricky to customize things down to the pixel, I find myself using javascript/jquery a lot more than I would on a normal site, but it is very powerful and pretty easy to set up a simple store. The only downside is the ongoing fees.

There's also an awesome little javascript library called the Paypal Minicart that you can implement into a site very easily and start selling products via Paypal while still maintaining a fairly professional looking site. I have sold thousands of products using that little simple cart.

BuildaBazaar is a good option, that fits with your specifications. Less flashy than some other options, but more customizable than most. BuildaBazaar is an E-commerce platform based on SaaS mode which helps you get your own online store in a matter of few clicks.

Wordpress Woocommerce would be a good solution IMO. All of my ecommerce sites are on Woocommerce, some with thousands of products. You don't have to pay a monthly fee for Woocommerce and it's fully integrated with Paypal and has a lot of additional payment gateway extensions if you're not going to use Paypal.

I have developed website shops both running big full-blown e-commerce platforms (both paid and open source) and Wordpress. Unless you require some very specific, very advanced features that are only available on real ecommerce platforms, and considering the low number of products you have, I would definitely go with the Wordpress.

I have tried more than a few ecommerce plugins for WP, WooCommerce is the one I like the most.

As you have only 10 products, to make it max SEO friendly and future customer friendly you need to provide the detailed information related to each product along with pictures, video(if any), diagrams (if any) and have the right URL rewrite rule to convince your future customer and Google. If your site is unique, explains about your products in the best way you want, it will sell.

All standard e.com frameworks are good but for a typical shopping site. They have a lot of advanced features, categories options, subcategory options, inventory options, shipping options, many payment options but you will not actually use those. In fact you have to hide some as they are shown as default. This creates mess in the system. The freedom to customize in your own way are absent. Big problem in logic modification in future, if any at all. Another point, all these framework projects has their own way display layout and you have use it. It may not be easy to make it in your own way. Even if you do, the underneath code will be too messy. Things are unnecessary complex.

I will still suggest you to check these great PHP frameworks if the layout exactly satisfy your need. If it does, pick that one. Otherwise, I suggest, you should go for custom development. You make it in your own way. Simple, easy to manage, modify in future, as you will have full control. Maybe at little higher budget, but it will help you to grow.

I think Shopify's great and have used it on many products. Once you scale you will want to migrate to a custom/self-hosted platform but it's great for starting out with a limited number of SKU's or volume.

I'd probably recommend WooCommerce - it's free and great for people starting out. It's also backed by WordPress so it's very search engine friendly

I work for an inventory management software called Veeqo and most of our customers actually use Shopify - it's very easy to use and comes with a ton of support, so if you're looking for something that's ready to use straight away, with plenty of guidance, then Shopify may be a better choice. I'd look into both if I were you.
