Problem with SodaCoca Wordpress theme

Hi All
I am the newbiest of all newbies and have little or no HTML experience.
I am making a website with wordpress and have a great theme called, "Car Body Kits" made by SodaCoca.
It has a lot of quirks but I need help with this one thing...for now.

There is an area that is blank between the categories bar and the post/page. It is supposed to be an area where a slider shows 4-5 really cool cars. I went to the sites help forum and have done everyting they said including trying to contact author.

To no avail, it will not work and I have a huge blank space that looks like people will leave the page before scrolling further.

Can anyone help me?

I have tried several combinations of the suggested and it still won't work. I would appreciate any help.

Please forgive me if I am asking stupid questions or make mistakes as I just started getting into web sites a few months ago.

    • Why don't you ask the people who actually wrote the theme?

      Also, I would say that any theme with, as you point out, 'a lot of quirks', is probably not worth bothering with in the first place, especially since there are so many well written, solid themes available.
    • Do you need the backend admin login?
      I guess you need the password too?
      My friend told me it takes trust to get help here, so if that is what you need let me know.
