E commerce plugin

Hi guys,

A potential customer has asked me to build him a website with a shopping cart, he is a builders merchant.

He would like to have a feature that suggests items to go with the items the customers has selected for example: if the customer is ordering plasterboard the shopping cart will show a suggestion for drywall screws, plaster mix etc.

I am using Wordpress to build his site, does anyone have any good experiences, I haven't chosen a theme as yet so a good all round e commerce Wordpress theme would do.

  • I use the paid WP-eStore plugin from Tips and Tricks but I'm sure it doesn't have that facility you're looking for.

  • Try E-Shop plugin not full of features but it doesn't slow your site down.
