Hiring from Fiverr worth it?

Not sure where else to post this, so here goes.
I understand you get what you pay for, but I am wondering if hiring someone from fiverr to generate a banner/logo is worth it or a complete waste of time.
I am not remotely interested in graphic work and the price is nice.

Anyone have feedback?

    YES it's worth it! Type in what you are looking for in the search box and then click on rating, so you can view the top gigs and what people have said about them.

    Make sure to be very descriptive about what you want. It's definately worth, I use it all the time.

    You can find lots of good designers there, but some are also not efficient but if you want to save time contacting good designers and needs a quick turn around you can go to fiverr to find some guys.

    You definitely get what you pay for when using Fiverr... however it is known that you can find some pretty good deals there if you look around. Be prepared for not getting what you expected however.
