Hi folks, please I want somebody in the know-how to show me how to upload a zipped website from my PC unto my domain name webspace.

I don't know FTP or HTML techniques. But using simple Website Builder I am able to design the website for my Affiliate Marketing. Unfortunately, the Website Builder Host company rejected the Affiliate Marketing website as it is against their policy. They returned the website to me as zipped and now it is sitting in my PC with no clue of how to upload it to my new domain/hosting.

Please help me out.

Thanks.

Kind Regards.

Who is your host? do you have Cpanel?

If you have Cpanel log into your File Manager and upload the .zip file to the main directory of your website. Then in the top bar there is the option "decompress".

    Tada done.

Easiest way would be to unzip to PC and use a program called WSFTP. This program not only allows you to upload all files in seconds but also allows you to change permissions of files: Search Google 'How to use WS_FTP'

This is by far not the easiest way. It is actually the longest way. If you uncompress the file before you upload it via ftp a seperate connection has to be opened to transfer each file. Considering a CMS can have thousands of files this will take forever.

The easiest and fasted way is to upload the zip file and then uncompress it on the server. This is made easy if Cpanel is available with File Manager. But even without Cpanel you can unzip the file using a php command.
