Wordpress Themes.

Ok so my site has been up around 18 days and has had a total of 30k visitors. im ranked in alexa like 7.6 mil and only have 8 inbound links. I like the theme i use, but it is just overwhelming to someone visiting the front page of the site. I use OnlineMag. What i am looking to find out is if there is a better theme that incorporates everything on the front page, minus the full length articles. id like just a preview like on my other pages. i can not figure out how to do this. mainly because i am still a beginner with WP. Obviously i am doing something right, to have that many visits in such a short span, my biggest day was over 7k visits. and im getting these stats on visits from jetpack site stats.

    • I agree. It should be some greenish or something.. And the theme you are using is very common. Why don't you go for some PAID themes! Aah, Lemme help you l'll more. Here are some links from which you can buy one.

  • Change your theme immediately. Your theme has backlinks to random sites in the footer. Not good for SEO. Go to WordPress.org and grab a suitable theme. You can also search and install new themes within your WordPress site itself.

    • Your website theme is OK but it not that much eye catching that visitors wish to stick on your website.

      I think should be meaningful so that you can get good targeted traffic. There are themes available in Wordpress and if it is not available of your choice then you can even custom your website theme of your choice.
  • Site looks ok, I agree with the theme change though. Something perhaps a bit greener to fit in with the content.

  • well i have a ton of premium themes, as they are pretty easy to find. but as far as doing different things with the themes, thats where i fail. i tried to take those links out the footer and it crashed the theme out, i had to go to my ftp server and delete it just so i could get back into admin panel. i used some genesis themes and got suspended from adwords permanently because they said i was a bridge page cause of the link to the genesis home. i will look thru my themes and find a better one, but how do i personally design it, via ftp?
