One page WP Sales Page

Copy the wesite index.html or index.php
Rename it cb.html or cb.php
Replace the buy button link with your clickbank one.

Ok so I just got around to doing this. My site now displays as the mysite.com and mysite.com/cb

Now in wordpress editor, I can see both of these .php files. I changed the code on the mysite.com/cb to a clickbank buy button. But when I refresh my page, it doesnt show the changes.

Seems I can edit on the index.php, but not on the cb.php (which i renamed)

Any help gratefully received.

OK, I finally figured this out.

The theme was a one page html template, done for wordpress, and uploaded by my designer.

I wanted a seperate landing page for clickbank, so I could keep my original landing page where my buy button is all my own profit. Also, terms page, privacy, contact etc

All I did was go into ftp, COPY the index.php, and then rename it accordingly.

In wordpress, I select Add New Page.

I give the page name same title i.e clickbank (as the renamed index page clickbank.php)

On the right of the add new page, there is an attributes menu. Under template, i click this, now I see an option to select the clickbank template (clickbank.php)

I then go into wordpress editor. Select the clickbank.php page template.

right at the top, I add

/*
Template Name: clickbank
*/
?>

I then update this HTML file, with the Clickbank buy button. And open the site page mysite.com/clickbank and the changes are made.

I then rinse and repeat with terms page, contact etc.

I put this here as it is 1) Handy for reference for myself and 2) handy for others who get a one page html minisite template done for wordpress, save encountering same problem!

If all your dealing with is new html squeeze pages, you can simply add the regular html squeeze page to the root folder of the wordpress install with Filezilla/ftp.

Then all you need is the name of the html page, example: mydomain.com/squeeze-page-1/

This way is very fast & you can add as many squeeze pages as you want.

• mydomain.com/squeeze-page-1/
• mydomain.com/squeeze-page-2/
• mydomain.com/squeeze-page-3/
• etc...

Just another option...

Or, If you have a bunch of html squeeze pages you could simply create a folder in the root Wordpress install folder like this, to help keep everything organized:

• mydomain.com/squeeze-page-folder/squeeze-page-1/

Actually, adding a file named "sqeeze-page.html" to the root folder... will NEVER result in a link like example.com/squeeze-page/ <-- that's a folder, NOT a file.

Be careful what kind of advice you are giving out!
