Host friends E-commerce wordpress site on my host?

Hi Warriors,

I'm trying to set up a e-commerce wordpress site for a friend

I have a hostgator baby package.

Is it possible to host his site on my host?

Maybe a sub-domain or something?

    Mike it is possible. Just have your friend update his domain names nameservers to reflect your name servers which hostgator provided you when you signed up.

    Then click on add on domain in your cpanel and add your friends domain name to your account.

    You will then be able to add wordpress to your friends domain name by using fantastico.

    Be aware that this is against Hostgator's terms of service. Also, there are several reasons not to do this.

    Their Aluminum resellers package is only $24.95 per month.

    I completely agree with Joe. But you know many people go with it without any problems.

    If you do it once, you may get away with it. But if you practice it for wrong purpose, you may not want to do this.

      On shared hosting you are allowed few or unlimited addon domain, if the website is small no problem adding it as addon domain.
