I'm getting ready to build my first real main niche website and was wondering what some of the pros, cons, & overall opinions on XSitePro vs Wordpress is.

Also, I have XSitePro & would like to build my site in it due to it's simplicity & it seems like it is pretty well capable of onpage SEO & generating the Meta Tags right off the bat, but here are a couple q's I'd really appreciate answered:

1- If I build my site in XSitePro, will it still be compatible with the Word Press All In One SEO Pack?

2- Would I really need the "All In One SEO Pack" from WP if I build my site with XSitePro? Is it really that necessary?

3- Anyone have any great success using XSitePro?

I would appreciate anyones help & maybe some pros n cons based off of both through user experience.

Thanks!

  • XSitePro (I didn't know about it earlier) is just a web design application. You cannot compare it with WordPress, which is a CMS. With WordPress, you can start using a good template doing away with the need to design. It is better for SEO because you can use plug-ins like WordPress SEO. It is also easy to manage using the online interface. HTML sites won't have it.

    • Hi Ace, you will be absolutely fine, building your site with XSitePro.

1, The Wordpress all in one SEO pack is completely irrelevant for XSitePro. The SEO pack was created because Wordpress lacked the features that XSitePro was designed with. Wordpress plugins, and themes are not compatible with XSitePro.

2, The same as above, no, you would not need it.

3, There are many people on this forum that have had great success with XSitePro, and you can count me as one of them.

XsitePro, and WP, are the mechanism that can get you where you want to go. With each, there are pluses, and minuses, but each can deliver a polished final product. It is up to you to make your site visitable, and profitable.

      Good luck,

      Pete
