    Hi,
Usually they let you try one of their premium theme for free. If you like it, they charge like $25 for a premium theme of your choice. Some charges as low as $3.25/month and that gives you access to a lot of premium themes for use on unlimited domains. One of them is theme4press. But if you really want a top notch one, go for flexsqueeze or try their free top notch theme called flexibilitytheme.

    Hope that helps.
    cheers,
    Bobby

Not really. I mean why would this be helpful when the OP asked for UNIQUE theme.

Unique means just that = unique. One and only. Nobody else is suing it; it was made only for ONE user. Custom. Not 'premium' but unique.

      Do you get the difference?

It's probably best to find out exactly what kind of theme you want and then look at the price.

I've seen developers charge $2,000 for a unique theme, and I've seen developers charge $20. It's all about the quality of the theme, and the intelligence/efficiency of the developer. You get what you pay for.

A WordPress theme like About.com should be $1,000 onwards, depending on the features that you want. If you just want the homepage and the inside page layouts to be mimicked, it should be around $1000. That is what I would charge my clients. If you hire someone (agency or individual) in the US or other developed world countries, it should cost you a lot more to hire a developer with the same level of expertise.
