How To Make a Squeeze Page / Sales Page

So I have a blog that gets 500 or so views a day. I hired someone to make the site and my squeeze page but I want to be able to create my own.

How do you go about creating a squeeze page or sales page? I use wordpress so is there a plugin or something that works well? Or is it better to create it by uploading files?

For a squeeze page - you really need nothing elaborate - I'd simpy use an editor such as NVU (Google NVU free download), or Dreamweaver (paid)

There are many others, but I've only ever used DW.

This guy has created a fortune with his simple landing/squeeze page template style, using DreamWeaver.

Its great to learn how to create your squeeze pages initially, then as your business grows you can outsource it.
You will find that when you have created one, its quite addictive and you want to make more.
I can now knock up a killer squeeze page in 2 minutes.

When your views increase, I guess you're gona need a professional to design them for you, integrate the optin code nicely with the design - so its gelled in and looks part of the layout.. etc

For example in this layout I added an optin area just beneath the navbar (so its above the fold). Notice how the optin area looks a lot different than what the default code can get you.

    Hope this helps
