As a first time, It's not bad, It's a good one.
But I don't think that, It's perfect. You have to do hard word to improve.
Otherwise you have to try about your site SEO. I'm sure you are a hard worker so,

The site is already using CSS. The link reference to its style sheet is right above the title tage. Maybe there are more CSS elements that can be used to make important parts stand out more, but he is using CSS.

The site is a review site. Not sure how one would make a review site interactive. It's not a game in and of itself. It's just reviewing the game; which review will hopefully spark the interest of readers and get them to click through to the game itself, and sign up for it.

If some more experienced person out there could give some good advice on how to make a review site interactive that would be helpful. New ones don't know all the ropes that's why they come to forums like this. To find out HOW to do it, not just WHAT to do. Often, they may know WHAT to do, HOW is the hang up for them.

I'm betting poor Nifty doesn't know what a robot.txt is. Why is it important? How do you write one? (Actually, I'd like to know that myself, because I don't have one on any of my sites. So, poor Me, too!)

The overall design of the site is in keeping with the game's. Perhaps some screen shots of the game would be appropriate to add as illustrations.

Nifty, when you go through your piece to fine tune it, adding the recommended headers, make them meaningful, because you want to take as many keywords from your headers as you can. They count most in searches. Eve Online should be one of those keywords. I'll take a closer look at your site a bit later and see if I can help you with that.

In the meantime, nice work for your first time. Jumping in there and getting your feet wet can be scary! It'll get better as you pick up more experience.
