Anyone have some recommendations regarding the best premium themes? I'm familiar with Woo and Elegant themes and both have their merits, but one just had a security issue this past week and the other has hit or miss support. Don't get me wrong, I'd recommend either or both for any developer. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and cost isn't a major issue unless it involves body parts.

What's the learning curve for the studiopress framework? I'd really like a system that's uniform across themes. That's one of the drawbacks of other premiums.

I am using the Genesis theme on my WordPress Security Checklist site.

It took a few days to figure out the basics, but there's good documentation and a bunch of plugins to help you get going...

        I'm happy!

Mentioning "security" and "bunch of plugins" in the same post... it's kinda oxymoron

Only if you believe "plugins" = "insecure"

I'm a Thesis kind-of-guy. I love the fact that it's fast and SEO friendly. If I ever have a client in need of a design, I always slap Thesis on the website and get working. It's magical.

The best place to look for premium WP themes is ThemeForest.net.

Personally I use the Thesis theme.

I use alot of premiumpress themes on my sites.
interface is consistent across all of their products.
you can get a VIP package for a couple hundred bucks.
this includes ten or eleven different applications: like shopper, comparison, classifieds, etc.

+1 for elegant themes. They have great support. Code is clean and easily customizable and you can easily mess around with design changes.

Genesis framework is best for generic wordpress themes and my favorite individual theme is Akita (it's on themeforest).

I use Elegant Themes a lot so yet another thumbs up.

They are well written and easy to tweak.

For a do anything theme, then Mingle on Themeforest is awesome once you get your head round the design part, kind of a theme of themes.

I have used SiliconApp Theme from ThemeFuse designs. They're $49.95 but you can get them on sale now, 4 themes for price of one. Plus if you're a Mac user you get a lot of useful apps (TotalFinder, DefaultFolderX,Keyboard Maestro) on top. I bought the bundle myself and it's a great value.

I've used Elegant Themes and Theme Forest and would recommend either. I've never had any problem with support and they are easy to customize. I like Elegant Themes because you can pay yearly for access to all their themes instead of having to pay for them individually. I know they've both been said but there's another vote for each.
