Free Video Editor?

WEB DESIGN

I have a toshiba computer from yesteryear, (about 2008)...its still kicking so I'm still using it. I have an android phone and a panasonic camera from about 2007. I want to be able to do some simple video editing...adding captions, etc....something a tad bit better than the windows movie maker which is crap. The panasonic records in .mov format. I hope to have a new HD camera within the next few months and then I'll upgrade to something better or perhaps it will have some editing software. Not sure. The vid stuff I want to do now is not too important so it doesn't matter. I have a guy that does good editing but I don't want to trouble him with my little stuff and frankly he's hard to reach/coordinate with. I thought I would ask in this forum because you guys are more computer savvy. Any ideas let me know. Thanks

You have every devices what do you need to do this project.
Just you need Ulead pro 7. It's easy to use and you can edit your videos smoothly.
If you have already then try it. If you think you need any help from mine. Just PM me anytime.Actually I'm not expert but I have done some editing for my college, home and business. Go ahead and I believe you can do it.

  I've yet to see a free video editor that's better than Movie Maker AND actually easy to use.
  
  That said, if you can spend @ $50, you can get a "lite" version of Sony Vegas, which in my opinion is by far the best video editing software for anywhere near that price range.
  
  You can download a free trial of it and see if it fits your needs...

I can use " Ulead Vidio Studio11 " I had a youtube channel where i add more than 300 Video . I edited all those video . But My channel is now banned
Ulead Vidio Studio11 is very easy, try it ,its simple .

Let me ask you all this while we're here. What would I need for putting link video boxes at the end of my vids like I see so many other vids on Youtube?

Brandon when my funds get a little better I plan on getting some real deal stuff. I might can spring for $150 soon...We'll see.
