WP Membership plugins

Hello,

I've been working on a membership site for about a month and I'm just stuck when it comes to plugins.

My site will contain video training (which I want protected and stream only).I plan to use 2-3 levels of membership(drip feeding is not important to me). I'm worried about: content protection, ease of navigation and setup,coupon codes and the plugin handling subscriptions and unsubscriptions. I keep hearing about the following plugins

Magicmembers
Whislistmembers
S2 Member (free and paid)

as well as Profitstheme which is suppose to allow you to set up a membership site and protect your content.

Now I've look at the features and I'm stuck between Magicmembers and S2 but can't find any good reviews out there. Every review i come across just seems as if they are trying to sell the product.

is there anyone here with a little more experience with these plugins?

      Hi,

      For me WishList Member is a good choice, and if you have money, I recommend also to get a membership to Wishlist Insider (each month they release an extension to Wishlist which add a lot of feature,in addition to great community.

      WLM is easy to setup, and there is a great support.

      Also if you are hosting your videos on amazon S3 you need another plugins, like easy video player, or S3flowshield, but if you host videos on your sites, WLM is OK.

        I too agree. WishList Member is a good wordpress plugin for a membership site.

    I like S2 Member. This is best plugin for Memberships. You can manager multi level User, manager file for download v.v....

    Do check out DigitalAccessPass (DAP) when you get a chance. Your research for a membership plugin would be sorely incomplete without considering DAP.
