Should GoDaddy backups be deleted

When backing up a client site I was surprised to see that it had grown to over 2 Gigabytes. I found this was mostly due to some backup software that was running. Any advantage to cleaning out the older backups on a GoDaddy account?

You may contact the support. I think only they can do it.

If you do delete the backups, just make sure your clients have the backups that are more recent and even some of the old.

Sometimes people want to backup to a period prior to the most recent backup, so make sure you think about that.
