We all know how important key words are.

The question is should we change them every now and then to keep it fresh if you have a site thats been around for while?

If your site is ranking high for some specific keywords then there should be no need to change them as you are already getting the task done i.e. high rankings.

    Hi,

You seem to be a little bit confused...
If you're talking about meta keywords then they are not as important as they used to be, I remember reading an article some months ago explaining Google isn't making use of them anymore. If I'm still filling them on my website it's because I'm using a system that offers similar articles based on the meta keywords, otherwise I'd completely ignore them.
Your keywords, however, should be part of your content. This is where Google will pick them up. If you've started working to make one of your pages rank for one particular keyword, you most certainly don't want to change the content of that page and throw all your efforts to the trash... You may want to improve that page if you consider the original content wasn't good enough (don't over-optimize it though) but not change it completely.

    Seb.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

Keywords are the words. The details make sense in the compiler.
They are called keywords. There are 49 keywords currently defined in the Java language. These keywords can not be used as names for a class variable or method

If you have good rankings, leave your keyword as such. Maybe in the future you see that the keyword you used is now fading out and bringing you less traffic, you can then change to the new keyword you see is having a lot of traffic. Since google knows your site, i don't think you would lose your place on the rankings.

I don't think that you must change the keyword regularly as it may affects the ranking of the site. You decide on which keyword you need to target and work on it. You may change the content on your website regularly to get better results.

    Thanx for imput everyone..

What i'm trying to say is about the content it'self.. is it important to re write the content every now and then to keep it fresh but say the same thing in a difffent way without loosing focus on the what your portying to the visitor.

Would this help the rankings of the site ?.. If for instance i had a minisite selling a product from a slaes page.. After a while would it be good practice to re write the sales page but say the same thing with different keywords ? or would you only do something like this if the sales or visitor count droped ?..
