Thinking of selling Website.... Anyone?

Hey everyone!

I have been thinking about selling one of my sites. Tips21.com. I get about 4,500 visitors a day.. High as 6,300 a few days ago. But I just don't have the time to update it daily as I did before. I wanted to know how best to calculate what I can sell it for. I check a few website worth sites but some of them don't even show any data.. Any ideas?     Well the site makes about $200 to $250.00 a month... plus sometimes I make sales to clickbank as well and Amazon but not as much. MY analytics are as follows

    Why dont you just find some one to manage it for you and they can keep half or something, thats always an alternative idea.

    Thanks guys for all your input. I'm really in an awkward situation because this site is like my baby.. I created it from scratch.. .but I have lost the hunger I once had.. I guess maybe I am just burned out. Most of my articles I write end up high on Google. I am somewhat skilled in SEO. But atlas I will take all your opinions and advice into consideration for the coming days.

    Website worth is usually calculated from your earnings (anything from 6 to 24 months of earnings).

    Depending on how optimistic a buyer would be, you can get at least $1000-1200 and above.

    Given how much traffic your site has, a far better solution would be to work on better monetizing the website, get its revenue numbers up and then try to sell it. IMO, with the traffic you have, doing this should be pretty easy!

    I would say offer it around $1500 or so and see what kind of feedback you get. Even if you don't get any buyers, this will at least give you a gauge of how much the market values your site and you can price it from there. When we put our heart and soul into something we tend to overvalue it, so keep that in mind.

    Thanks to all for some the advice as far as Flippa and so on. I do see that they have sites with a lot less pageviews and visitors as well as ranking going for much more than $1,500.00 though. Does anyone know how I could get someone to advertise on my site or some other kind of way to earn other than Adwords, Bidvertizer and Chitika? There have to be people out there who want to advertise for a small price I think. Thanks to all again.
