Help!! - How to forward my domain

Usually from my go daddy account I forward the nameservers to hostgator hosting for regular websites.

I am trying forwarding my domain to a clickback product hop link.

For forwarding to clickbank hoplinks should I:

- Forward directly from Go daddy using their 'Forward Domain' option; OR

- Setup the names servers as usual on hostgator and then forward the domain from hostgator?

    Forward directly from godaddy. There is no need to include hostgator. It's an unnecessary step.

    both works just fine however, i don't know the logic in buying a domain name just for an aff link.
