i want to design my own blogspot, need help

i really want to design my personal site such that it looks like blogger.com and works exactly the way they work.

what this means is that, it will be user friendly, that is lots of peole can use it to post content and also have their dashboards as well

now the challenge is where can i get information on how to learn to create sites like this, i really want to do it my self just by learning free online

if you know any site where i can get info that will assist me in achieving this goal please let me know

    The easiest way is to use WordPress in your server and then enable the Multi-Site network feature so that people can register and have their own blog (and the dashboard also). If you enable wildcard sub-domains, then your each blog can have a subdomain, such as: blog1.yoursite.com

    Just do some searches on google about WordPress multisite feature and wildcard sub-domain

      there are 3 things for you to create your own blogspot.
      your blog template
      To create a blogger template, you will need a graphic editor (Such as Photoshop, GIMP, or even Paint will do) to create images for backgrounds, post headers, sidebars, etc..
      Write your plan (what is it in your theme?)
      You will also need an idea or vision about what you want to create.
      a little about web design
      you will need to know about C.S.S (Cascading.Style.Sheets) and how to operate them. If you do not know how to do that, you cannot apply interesting effects to your newly designed template.
