New Website Design Recommendations

Hello All,

Been lurking for the past few months + looking for information on IM and website optimization. I'm near the end of having my website completed and would appreciate some feedback on the design effectiveness and functionality as well as on page/site SEO. Any feedback to improve the site for visitors and increase conversion as well as traffic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    everything looks good!! but I think you may have to concentrate on content cause it is the most important thing for google at this moment!!

      As in add more relevant content/text to the home page?

        Yes.. I guess you already did it.

        Other things you have to consider:

        1. I can't read your phone number (coloring is same as background!!)
        2. Use a SEO plugins like Platinum SEO or Allinone SEO
        3. Submit your site/xml sitemap to all search engines
        4. Get some High PR Backlinks from relevant site or blog
        5. Submit your Unique contents to High PR article directory
        6. Send your site url to directory and social bookmarking sites

    I know you said it's not finished yet, but I just spotted a couple of things...

    The nav bar at the top seems to spill in to the image below on the two browsers I viewed it in. Also, your 'get a quote' button seems to have the hover-link image behind it all the time?

    There is also an extra nav list that I get in the top right hand corner when I click 'contact us' which I think should be throughout the other pages.

    There was a couple of images that I thought were buttons that didn't seem to go anywhere, but I assumed this was part of the 'unfinished'- ness! All round it's not bad at all - just needs some fine tuning.

      Thanks KurBear. Most of that is part of the unfinished-ness as you said. However I will be bringing up the quote button seeming to hover-link behind it all the time as well as the extra nav list.

    I would suggest cropping the height of the images. This would mean going through them one at a time and deciding to crop top, or bottom. They should all remain the same height.
    The start of your text can be made easier to read. A bulleted list would help.

      I've been thinking the same regarding making the images smaller/cropping them. Thanks Definitely need to add the social medial profile buttons as well. Thank.

    I would like to suggest you to add the your facebook,twitter and linkedin profiles to the home page so that people can follow and helps in marketing the website. Any testimonials from previous cstomers would help attract more potential customers.
