Why does my site not have a scroll bar?

Hey guys,
Long time to see. But as usual I always end up back here cause you guys always have solutions to my problems! So thanks in advance.

My site chooses to have a scroll bar sometimes. I have an in window pop up that comes up every time and sometimes after you cross that off the page will continue to load then the scroll bar disappears. I have no idea why it is happening in the first place, but that fact it only does it sometimes confuses me even more.

The site is Guitar Burning Speed - Guitar Speed | Shred Guitar the pop up will come up in 3 seconds, cross it off and hopefully you will see what I mean.

  • Obviously a conflict between pop-up script and scroll bar. Though is there such a need for the pop-up? try using a different pop-up method through dhtml. dynamicdrive.com
  • It does seem to be the pop up screen that makes the background opacity drop and the pop up screen take over. I hate pop ups and think they are a bad idea.
  • Agree with gog, pop ups are a nuisance and drive traffic away when used incorrectly.

    Try without, you may get a positive result.
  • I know with Aweber, you can put an in-line form instead of a pop up.

    Plus. Like Guitar stuff. (totally off - topic) ever seen guitar-tube.com ???
