The reason I ask is that I have a project I am working on but I know very little about website design. I purchased a template and I can minimal changes and updates to it but it takes me forever and is making the overall project lag greatly. if you guys would check out the site and let me know if anyone is interested in working with me on this. www.wedemandaplayoff.com

Is that Wordpress? It didn't particularly look like it. If not, why not work with Wordpress?

BTW, how much was that template?

(Incidentally, is this about the BCS Ranking System riff between OU, TU, and FSU?)

Something like that. Why word press? The template was $65.00

Well, ever worked with WP? WP is open source and free, with a lot of themes for free, or at a reasonable cost, depending on your needs. It also has tons of plugins and widgets so you can mod it anyway you like.

Not only that, posting is a cinch. If you can post here (and obviously you can), you can update your website.

One of the other reasons why WP is so popular is that while it started it's life as blogging software, more and more people are seeing the value in it as a Content Management System (CMS) . . . and because of the various themes and the flexibility of the system, it doesn't have to look bloggy. IOW, it's a quick 'n' dirty 'n' effective way to do website building and design without needing to know a whole lot of html, css, php, and other types of code.

        Does that make sense?
