OptimizePress - Protect download

I have just started using OptimizePress and for protecting a download page I got the advise to use one of the following membership scripts:

Wishlist
Digital Access Pass
S2Member

Does every membership script always involves sending people login information in order for them to get access to the product they just purchased through PayPal?

If this is the case this might be a bit of an "overkill" for me.

Actually I might want to stay away from these scripts, and just have a cryptic name for my download page to get some level of protection.

After they have payed for the product I just want them to emeditially get access to the download page for the product and that is the URL specified when creating the PayPal button.

So people that purchases from you are they directly sent to the page where they can access the product without enter any login information? For some reason I got the impression that all the member scripts worked that way...

I have installed the s2Member plugin and looked at an instructional video in my member area of OptimizePress. It's seems a bit complicated but I might give it a try.

Do you now if the free version supports PayPal Premium accounts? I know it's not supporting pro accounts.

I agree that those products you listed above are a bit over kill for what you're after. I would personally recommend you use E-Junkie to solve that problem.

You can find more information at E-junkie Shopping Cart for selling downloads & tangible goods

    Regards,
