Dummie Needs Help

I've got this WP that I just can't deal with.

Anyway, I have an old version of XSitePro 1.5 or something that I've been using for one site. I'm just more comfortable dealing with a static website versus wordpress.

I have a template with all the CSS files I've been using on a couple of other sites. Sooo I was thinking that maybe I could just use XSP along with this template and can the WP.

Can anyone familiar with XSP tell me if I can upload a template and css files to XSP in addition to the site I already have in XSP and keep them separate? Does that make sense?

Thanks,
Burt

  • Hey Burt

    Don't fully understand your question

I don't believe earlier versions of XSP can handle php code, so if the WP template you wish to use has any php code it won't work.

If everything is in html you should be able to load the wp template html and css information into XSP
  • Hi burt,

    Your question sounds complicated..

Are you trying to have the same site design layout of XSP convert to wordpress theme design?

Correct me if I am wrong ...

    • Within WP there are templates (for each theme you have uploaded)

This is within the area that says "Appearance" then choose Theme Edit I believe.

You should be able to customize the actual pages of the theme to look like your other site (in theory)
