New Dating site opinions?

Ok sorry no it is Indian focused but where do i start. For starters it does have that general Blogger site feel to it. However a few tips:
(1) Remove the mass of social sharing buttons in the corner they make the site look cluttered. Instead look at adding either share this or add this module or plugin.
(2) Remove the Brown background its just not an attractive color especially on a dating website. I think the standered black would look a little more better.
(3) The bottom footer needs to be filled. How you go about doing that i dont know. However, having three large Iframes on the left hand side, with nothing on the right hand side is not a good site look.
(4) You need a better standerdisation of color in the writing. e.g dont use a mix between orange and green one moment and then blue and black the next. Its probably best to keep the writing heading one color and the text another color.
(5) The heading is to small and not significant enough for a customer or site user to remember.
(6) Finally the template is a little space, you should thing about using a better allocation of your space by mixing up module positions or filling unused module positions.
Apart from those things i like the favicon. I think you should just work on developing the site a little more, only a week or so's worth of work.

If you have a forum for your dating site than you can have more visitors to your site.
Your site will be popular in people very fast.

The forum i would install on the dating site make them register to post but make post visible for others to read and google will index it faster

Here is a layout i setup but havent had time to get the site rolling
MatchedDates - Home you may not like it but i like setup ive promoted alot of them with this kinda layout.

I like that you have a 'hot or not' feature. I think this will help you get traffic. But after responding to the first 'hot or not' question, your site crashed on me. I got a 'Something fishy is going on' message.

You can move your "FREE Register" Tag from middle part to little up, so that user can check that in first go rather than scroll down. Also the Register Now section in the right section should be highlighted. The Login section in the right section you can shift yo header .. and you can use that space properly.. Just some suggestion. Nice work.

Honestly the homepage looks a lot like most hotel booking sites that I've seen.. You need to make it more attractive and the button written "free register" I believe it should be "free registration". The hot or not button is also fun at first..well if it was not a list then it probably was more fun.... Perhaps when you are already registered you get the chance to rate other members that would want to be rated.

not very impressed. i would not sign up for this site. here are few things that will 100% skyrocket your signup rate.
1.get a better logo
2. use more eloquent header
3. i dont see any need for membership navigation options,
4. use geoip script to call user location, for ex. if visitor is from mumbai or dehradun, show images for titles "member recently joined from dehradun/mumbai", search for maxmind geoip script
5.no need for about us again just above sign up box (imp)
6. DO NOT BLEND sign up form with background color
7.Use better, bigger sign up form and call to action button,
8.use a bigger image of more attractive female and male, no need to mention free forum
but emphasize on free registration, use free registration in cta and just above sign up box and done.
9.instead of search at the top , put a login link, and replace login box with sign up box.
10. remove all all all social login buttons, they are useless and disturbing, instead show thm those buttons to connect on 2nd or 3rd page when they signup
11.blend those trust logo's in html, make them llook like part of page
12.you can also use that search box instead of signup box and when some one searches, show them free signup box before they can see results.
13. colors matters a lot,i have seen improved sign up rates with blue doominating landing pages.need not to be all blue though.

I am not sure which version did you see. Some of your points are not there any more. They were changed 2 days ago. Perhaps, you visited the site before and now seeing the cached pages?

Thanks for excellent input. I have double the size of logo. I hope this is readable on a Tablet. I will see what I can do with more colors.

Site looks ok, however I would fix the footer to look a little more professional and I would also remove the celebrities from Hot or Not... if you're a dating site why would people want to vote on whether a celebrity is hot or not?

You have a good point about HotorNot celebrities. It was only for traffic purpose. Since, I put it two weeks ago my visitors traffic had increased 200%. For unkown reasons, Gooogle is also indexing that page among top five in searches, even though the HotorNot page meta tags absolutely not optimized.

Yeah, it does. Actually I am using Wordpress s2Members Pro to manage the subscriptions and trial mememberships. s2Members is inserting its security badge at the top of other things in the footer. I am not able to figure out how to reposition/align it with other things in footer. I have sent a support request to s2members. I am waiting a response from them. Some of the s2members java script is inserting it. I have tried css tricks, but it is not helping.

Your dating site looks good to me.
It's not easy to build a new dating site for the first 1000 members.
Dating site can reply on SEO to reduce the ad cost.
But I think the fate of dating is to invest in ads to attract new users.

It's probably just my aesthetic preference but you might want to take out those graphic lines that separate the "Enjoy this and more" section. That twirling ribbon looks out of place. Why not put that whole section in a solid box?

Streamline the design elements and stick to a theme. Your color selection is perfect for your site's niche.

Just a few points:
the social media buttons at the bottom are distracting (an earlier poster said this, too);
adjust "HotorNot" to "Hot or Not" or "HotOrNot"; currently it's hard to read;
I'd list a few benefits for the Premium membership and Forums so that those boxes are visually even (top and bottom) with the happy couple photo;
the text on the About Us page is in clunky and slightly confusing English.

Membership options layout is awkward. Why not have a table that compares all three options so the value of your premium becomes clear? Also, by putting the Free version at the top, I suspect many people miss, skip, or ignore the paid options below.

Also all the share buttons would have to go you could mix those in the inside and on the forum etc.
Make the outside appealing to people looking to hookup visit some of the other dating sites and see how there laid out etc
Dont worry about making it googlicious you can do that on other pages
and if you have it free to signup right now why do you have all those buttons at the bottom.
something else I learned make the index for the target your going for and you could use the same members area for Multi niches so in other words once you got it poping
You could then open 5/10 sites using the same members and if its something thats niche specific you could have a script hide that part when refereed by a certain url

With dating you make alot more covering alot of niches
Adult,mature yadda yadda so to save you money and headace
You would use a.domain with index per niche
Then once there inside all sites use same members area
And if one has somthing that doesnt fit like adult with
None adult you have a script hide or ad certian things
This helps it to look more used
So if you got ten sites with 100 members the members area
Would have 1k members and be poping alot more because of volume
