Is there a way to duplicate the same wordpress post every week?

Hello everyone! Great forum! Anyways, I have a question I was hoping someone would know the answer to... I am using wordpress.


Does anyone know if there is a way to duplicate the same post every week. For example: each friday I would like the same post. Is there a way to automate that?

  • why on earth you want to duplicate the post? duplicate content may get your site penalize by google. .

    • It's a private site that only people with usernames and passwords can go on to. The reason why I want my site to work like this is because it is sort of like an an event calendar. Where people can add things to it via commenting. Which then I can approve or not approve from the admin level.

      It would make my life a a lot easier if I were able to duplicate posts because each day of the week I have certain events I do.
  • I imagine it'd be pretty easy to just copy and paste the content into a new post and schedule them all. Instead of having to do it every Friday, you could do 52 of them in one day and be set for the next year.
