I'd give it a 4 or a 5. The logo is an immediate need for fixing, and the post thumbnails need work to. You probably just scale them, right? I used to make that mistake and found out the hard way that they all were distorted. Instead of just scaling them, try cropping the images as close to size as you can get, and then scale them. It'll result in a better picture.

Overall, I like the design and think it'll go far. Just work on the marketing

I agree 5.
I would get rid of the white space above the menu bar
Remove the top blogger credit if possible (I'm not familiar with their rules)
On the home page (not the others because of your social media plugin at page left) make the wrapper wider and increase the padding on the main content area
Add some shadow and maybe rounded corners to the wrapper and some shadow underneath the lower menu bar.

I wanna give you 7 out of 10
Design is looking simple, nothing problem to read but
I think you should make some twist, try to make it something colorful,
that will be the great idea to get good traffic i believe.

I also think that you should improve your logo. It does not impressive.
It should not be handwriting font. You may change it to normal typewriting font such as Arial Black and make it bold.

3-5.... This is why you should hire a designer... to really pull this off and have a better and decent presentation, either buy a theme or hire a designer.. you're spending more time on something that is not you're arena... you have other aspects of your business that you could be working on... this is not it.
