Need some website feedback!

Hey guys,

I've been doing a few changes and tweaking on my Web Design site over the last few days after getting some tips from these forums. I've changed quite a bit on it, to reflect easier usability. I've changed the menu buttons to "scrollovers" which I find makes a nice simpler touch as well as some graphical changes.

I just wanted some feedback from you guys to see if it needs any additional touches, like more graphics, more text, ect..

    The white and gold looks good. The gray on gray background is pretty dark. It does look sleek though. Laid out well.

    Looks good dude. I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable with the all caps navbar items though - try different fonts.

    And Nspire is right, use some copywriting on that and you'll get customers in no time!

      Yeah, they are done with JavaScript. What don't you like about them?

    It looks very classy and professional, the design colors don't do much for me honestly, but I do like the content, and organization.

    Looks good, but little bit boring. The website is empty. You need more content on your website.
    By "about us", "services" put more text.
    Tell the visitors why they need you. Tell more about your services, the way you work.

    For example: See my website friebach-media.com for inspiration
    But don't steal anything, create your own.. :p

      Thanks for the input. I see what you are seeing, but I made it in the hopes of not having it looking cluttered. I wanted to make it as simple, clean and professional as I could.

      Did you write all the content yourself for your site? (which looks great!) or did you hire someone? Any suggestions for hiring someone to write a salespage for a Web Designer?

    I'm a lousy designer and my website looks ugly but I do get sales from it.

    you put:

    * Great Rates
    * 100% Customer Satisfaction
    * Friendly Service
    * Professional Designs

    ....isn't this what all web designer put? you need to write something that will differentiate yourself from others, listing benefits like "designing a website that sells?"

    I believe most businesses needs a website that can help to improve their sales.

    You should put a lead capture page and put offer like "Design the 1st page for FREE" if you sign up at my page.....

    On one hand I like the sharp cleanliness of your site. On the other hand I didn't feel anything warm or inviting grabbing me to go in and explore further. YOUR SOURCE FOR QUALITY WEBDESIGN, I totally missed that line at a glance. Maybe color, not all caps, or bigger, or an extra space line between that and the title, or tabbed a bit to the right to give it a little of its own definition. I am fairly new at all this so its just a newbie opinion. It's very hard, everyone has such different tastes.

    I guess you should add more link exchanges in your site. To increase more traffic. Well that is just my idea. But overall the site is nice and easy to use.
