Wordpress Popups Not Working

I have tried the following two popup plugins on my site:
WordPress › WordPress PopUp « WordPress Plugins
WordPress › WP Super Popup « WordPress Plugins

After configuring them, neither of them showed up on the site. I tried in 3 different browsers and also asked my friend to check. Nothing.

I thought it might be a conflicting plugin, so I disabled all of my other plugins and still nothing showed up.

Could it be a conflict with my theme?

Any other suggestions?

it could be a conflict with the theme loading a wordpress built-in pop-up script..

Could indeed be a conflict with other plugins. But did you check the CSS of the popup boxes? Maybe there's something wrong with their positions. Or maybe there's a missing z-index?

Could you post the url of your website?

Clear your browser cache and cookies, close and restart your browser; see if it works then. If not,...

Disable all other plugins, and revert to the twenty-ten or twenty-eleven theme. Clear your browser cache and cookies, close and restart your browser. That puts your install as close to 'out of the box' as you can get.

Might need a Site wide cache reset, or you may have a conflict with the $ for your script, many issues can be resolved by just using the reference label instead of the instance & for multiple scripts on a site.
