guide to setting up site so people can sign up to list and pay for ebook

How do i make it so people can go to a page on my wordpress site, sign up to a list and at the same time pay to download an ebook? i think i'll be using mailchimp.

how do i set this up? - technically. is there a step-by-step guide on this?

    Usually, they would buy the book and then automatically be added to your list.

    thanks jubu - that doesnt really cover it.

    I'm looking for a guide:

    - where to upload the ebook to.

    - how to make it so when people fill in a subscribe form on my site, they are taken to a place to pay to download the ebook.

    - or how to make it so when users subscribe they receive an email with a link to pay for the ebook

    - and then how to make it so when they pay they are taken to a place to download the ebook

    Why dont you set it up like this:

    Have a landing page where they optin to receive the book. Or more information on the book.

    Have the thank you page be the sales page where they can buy the ebook, and use a paypal cart or "buy now button"


    This way you are still getting subs to your list even if they do not buy your book, you now have the option to sell to them again.

    Hi,
    From your question I think you need a membership site, where people pay first to access an ebook or some info in your website. If you use wordpress look for membership plugin.
