Is this the next big website? PLEASE WRITE YOUR THOUGHTS

If you have to preface a post with this message, you probably shouldn't post it :p.

Looks like one of those typical sites that people always make with premade templates. Doesn't look bad thought. All I'm saying is that there are tons of those on the web.

The website takes a while to load and I can't see the logo but it looks great the content looks great but your not really monetizing it to it's full potential, I would advise becoming an amazon affiliate and linking to these 'trending phones' and try some adsense. Good luck anyway I can see potential.

If you want feedback, all you have to do is ask. The way you went about is rather annoying. I'm curious as to why you're asking for feedback. Have you not made any commissions with it? I see it's been around for a few months and is apparently getting traffic. You should have made a few sales by now.

Well, I will say that I was impressed, actually.

You need to upload a header or logo though, it looks very plain up there.

Also you need to start ranking for some different search terms. I can't picture people typing 'trendingphones' into Google.

Also, what's traffic like? You need to monetize this asap.

I saw the "i'm not spamming or advertising", nope, nothing suspicious here guys.

I saw the title of the thread and thought this was going to be a Pinterest Versus Facebook kinda thread.

Well now that I'm here though and you've obtained a click from me, I might as well chime in on my personal opinions.

1) Your Logo isn't showing up properly, and it appears you linked to a tinypic image?
2) I would add a design to that navigation menu just for design sake. The random text just sitting there kind of bothers me.
3) You really should have a widget on the side that displays archives, older posts or at least categories.

It's not a terrible site, just a few design quirks that need to be worked out. You're at a PR1 and a 900+ k Alexa rating so you're doing better than billions of other websites all ready.

To become a "next" big thing, you have to provide people with the next big source of information or features that'll make your considered worthy to be the next big thing. There's millions of blogs out there, what sets yours apart is the question you have to ask.

This is just my opinion but I've found people I've asked like that Social Media bar as thin as possible and on the bottom of the page as a floater.

Not a bad looking site. You need branding and a logo and I'd opt for a few other changes to really draw your visitors in. Replace the 3 buttons in the header with some eye-popping graphics. As they are, most people probably won't even glance at them.

I don't think those particular keywords will help you much. I show a total of 28 queries for the first and 0 for the latter.

I find it odd that you have a few posts per day for the last few days of June and then the first 10 or so days of July, and then you come here on Sept. 19th without any posts on the website in the past 2 months and say "After months of working on my website I have finally completed it." It looks you finally completed it 2 months ago, and then stopped working on it completely?

I also find it odd, that in another thread you replied, "Hi there, I have made countless wordpress websites and I am in the process of making 2 right now for local businesses." That reply of yours was dated 7/10/12. So you have made countless wordpress websites as of July 10th, but this site where your first post was June 27th was your first website?

Hard to discern what the true meaning behind this post was...

Not a bad looking site. I am in the wireless/mobile business and it doesn't quite shout out that this site is an authority on any of the articles. Looks more like you have copied and pasted from rss feeds different already published articles. If you want to really kick it in, I would market yourself as an authority but to do that you or someone you hire will need to write unique content if you want hardcore or just regular wireless enthusiasts to frequent your site. The site isn't terrible, however its very boring and bland looking, and don't think it will attract too much attention or keep people there long enough. It needs a bit more colour and some professional looking graphics.

Also your opt-in form is awful!!! I'd be amazed if you are picking up peoples emails with that! all the decent autoresponders have some good looking templates to use for your form, also, wheres your incentive for people to sign up? you don't even mention what they are signing up to. I think you need to create or find a good free gift to giveaway, such as an ebook like "How to get the most from your smartphone" or something like that, it shouldn't be hard to find a PLR book or outsource it to someone. Instead of just having "sign up" above your form, why not something like, "sign up to out newsletter, and keep informed of all the latest tech gossip".

This business is about conversions, thats what make the difference between success and failure! I'll leave the SEO/keywords for others to offer advice on, as thats not my strong point! (I usually outsource all that kind of thing).

How or why would any other site rank for "trendingphones"? It's a nonsense word you made up that nobody's ever purposely searched for before. The purpose of SEO is to help your site rank well for the intersection of [things people actually search for] and [things your website offers]. You've got a venn diagram with no overlap here.
