      I would suggest you take a look at Amember. It's around $200 but they offer a free trial and can integrate with Wordpress or Joomla etc.

          I recommended DotNetNuke to someone in another post. It's a free CMS and I build all my membership websites with it, including the one in my signature line. I've tried most of the others out there, but none even come close. I even built a social networking website for a client called faceticket.com. I only push it because I trained all of my clients to use it and they usually pick it up right away so I have less support calls.

    Also, a script like amember is only part of the equation.

    You also need a decent web design for your site, good sales page, good content for your member's area and ideally useful materials for affiliates to use (if you plan on getting people to promote for you).
