    Good idea for a remodeling blog, lots of need especially with the plethora of DIY stuff out of there.

    Overall, clean layout...the aqua space across the top can be an image of a rehab project,etc....instead of just empty space.

    I always like to remove the META data from the side bar and just optimize the site with an seo plugin.

    Add different categories...instead of uncategorized, put real categories such as kitchen, living room, or whatever.

    On top of the video, you may want to add seo text to each description on the video...

    Well, that would work as well....see you can have different pages on the menu at the top....then on top of that, each article/video post will be part of a specific category.

    So, either way...or one or the other...so if you can make each section pages....and not worry about the categories...and just deactivate the categories section on the page...

    You know what...I just thought about it....pages are different than posts.

    So, posts will be on the right hand side...

    I would make over arching categories the pages...then sub-categories...posts.

    I think the color of the links don't harmonize well with the color of the background. Do a web search for "color scheme generator" for help.
