I'm looking for a slideshow that is perfect for getting page views. I want one that is not slow. Any suggestions?

Cincopa slideshow plugin will be the best solution for you. It is very easy to install, supports different CMS, html, jQuery and more. Images are hosted in CDN so the slideshow is fast, no need to wait for each image to load.

There are some nice free plugins but if you really want performance and ease of use.. look at codecanyon.com they have a lot of top notch plugins, paid, but they are superior to the freebies.

Call me old fashioned but I prefer the jcycle sliders or nivo.
They're easy to integrate to HTML, Wordpress or Joomla.
