adding slideshow on static page

Hi, I am changing my blog homepage to a static homepage. The problem is I need to get the slider to appear on the new static homepage.

I have managed to get to my slider options page on my themes. I have pasted below what the options on that page look like. I went to the selected pages on the options below and inserted my page ID "357,29" but nothing seemed to happen. Could you please tell me if I have missed something out

Enable featured posts slideshow at:
=Homepage
=Category Pages
=Tag Pages
=Archive Pages
=Single Posts
=Pages
=Search Results Pages

Featured Posts Images

The images for the "Category Posts", "Selected Posts" and "Selected Pages" should be added using the "Set Featured Image" link, located under categories list at post write/edit page.
Recommended image sizes 490px. x 300px.

Page IDs:________________________________

Enter individual page IDs to display in the slideshow. Separate IDs with commas.
You should add at last 2 page ID's with featured image set.
