Definitely NOT Wordpress... they are too many custom requirements, so I strongly suggest you choose a custom tailored solution. Such website can be developed for about $1.000 and then you will have ALL functions exactly as you wish.

Otherwise it will be an endless list of plugins trying to fit everything together, and at some point it won't be enough anyway. So most definitely: a custom written solution with you own CMS.

So what do you suggest. PHP is the right choice and only choice for it?

If you are a good enough developer, it wouldn’t really matter if you used Wordpress or not. Just because you have a Wordpress site does not mean you have to build everything into that. You could build out the main site using WP to make it easier to set up and then make the customer functionality exist outside of the WP site (while still styling it the same way). The real question is what do you feel comfortable developing in. If you want to develop a site from scratch in PHP and your strength lies there, then perhaps that is the route you should take. If you are good with WP then perhaps that is the logical solution.

The best part about Wordpress is that you can set up an entire website very quickly, make changes that populate across the entire site and you can also bend it to your will.

Preets, I suggest PHP/MySQL with AJAX and jquery to make it userfriendly.... you can PM me if you have noone to make this site for you.

I feel you are looking for a small type of project. I think it is better to contact any developer as it deals with works related to some organization maintenance. we should implement some programming languages and must implement security features or else site might get hanged in real time. any how thanks for the question and all the suggestions

Use WordPress and a Membership plugin .. should address your needs just fine.

Alright here's how you'd do this in a Wordpress enviroment,

1. Student can register
(There are many free login plugins that you can use)
2. Student can download course material after payment.
(This is a custom wordpress script that once payment is accepted an automated email will be sent and directed them to a hidden section of the website with your files)
3. Admin can manage students data and update their status like joining date , fee paid , fee due , etc.
(There are advance CMS plugins that in wordpress allow you to modify user fields and interactions)
4. Admin can upload PDF files of lectures and students can download themanoly after payment.
(Repeat my ans from Question 2)
5. Admin can add and delete any student
(Wordpress allows that at any time)
6. Student can create an online account and issued a user id and password ( Free and Paid version )
(Login table for students with a login and password you supply)

Wordpress is a custom CMS solution that offers more for less so that's my opinion on going apart this project.

You can do this in Wordpress, but why? You should use a proprietary solution. Too much play with to WordPress.
