Wordpress:Where Is The Folders And Files In The Home Directory?

I seriously need help. I am about to move my hosted wordpress sites to another host. In my current host i have 6 add-on domains installed in Public_Html/mysites.

With the add-on sites i don't have problem in moving them as i have moved many add-on domains from old to new host before.

Where i need help is the primary domain name which is in the home directory. Because unlike the add-on sites which i can see their individual folders in Public_Html, i cant find that of primary domain name.

I really need to find this folder as i intend to add it as an add-on domain name in the new host in which i already have some sites on.

As a matter of fact, i want to individually move each site folders, files, database(s) and domain names to the new host.

Could someone please point me in the right direction particularly about the primary domain name.

Thanks

Your primary domain site should be ordinarily found in Public_Html unless it has been modified to have files in other subfolder. All files and folders not belonging to any add-on domain are of your primary domain.

On most web hosts, your primary domain's folder IS public_html. It doesn't have a folder name corresponding to the primary domain name. It's just in public_html along with other stuff like the folders your subdomains are housed in.

If you're going to move to a new host and make what is currently your primary domain into an add-on domain at your new host, you'll need to move the contents of your public_html folder (excluding all of the add-on domains) into the folder created by making an add-on domain at your new host.
