    I don't think there is a solution for it and - more importantly! - there should NOT be!

    This is a typical mistake of rookies: you thought you figured out a solution to your problem, and now you want to force that solution upon your installation, good or bad... doesn't matter.

    So let's start with clarifying this - letting other people behind your wp-admin (password protected) area is a stupid step! Dangerous and stupid.

    Next, instead of thinking you know the solution - ask the right question: namely, How do I achieve XXXYYYZZ.
    In other words: forget the technicalities, just describe in plain English what is it what you want to do do. What is the ultimate goal?
    Letting people submit posts/articles? Or what?

    Sahil -

    PM me and let's get this solved. I understand what you're asking and Istavan's comment about 'forcing' is missing the crux of your issue.

    Istvan - you've been a Warrior and active at that for a long time. However, I take issue with most of your response. Especially the 'plain english'. Because this Warrior may not be a native English speaker, is the issue any less worthy of being resolved?

    How about (not that I think it is necessary in this case) asking Sahil to go to the Google Translator tool, translating his question and pasting it here in the forum?

    You are an expert at what you do but to come off as some sort of bigot is really offensive..really offensive..Everyone IS NOT white, American or Canadian friend. English speakers are less than 3% of the world's population.

    Moderator - show some leadership here and delete Istavan's (and my response) comment and let some other Warriors take a crack at resolving a fellow Warrior's issue. This forum is much to CLASSY for such non-sense.

      Thanks imarkedy

      I know my English is poor as Istvan Horvath said. English is not my mother language. I thankful to you for your kind and respective response. ..

      And half the time, someone comes along and answers the OP's question - sending him/her down a rabbit hole they never should have seen the inside of. A little knowledge can sometimes be a dangerous thing.

    @shahilwb,
    I never ever criticized you English. I am also NOT a native English speaker, so I'd never do it. What I told you was to not try to get technical, just tell me what is your end goal.

    WHY do you need that redirect? Can you just explain it simply? Why do you need to take a visitor from an external page in WP to the admin panel?

    That's all what I was asking.

    Here is what I think about your request. You want people to be able to submit articles (posts) to your WordPress powered blog. You, probably, made a Page titled "Submit Article". And now you want an 'automatic redirect from that external Page to go inside your protected admin panel.

    Is my suspicion correct?

    @imarkedy,

    I am the moderator here and I will happily delete your post that didn't help the OP.

    Asking to explain a technical issue in "plain English" is not a criticism of someone's language skills. However, if you don't know that... then you have a comprehension problem here, not the OP. In that context "plain English" means don't use technical 'jargon' and don't try to get lost in technical terminology.

    Here is what happens (based on over 8 years experience with WordPress).
    People stare at their WP installation because they have a problem to solve: they want to achieve ABC. Now, the normal path would be to go and ask in a forum like this 'How can ABC be done? Any known methods/tools to achieve ABC?'

    Instead, they stare more at the monitor and they think they figured it out... (if I can do XYZ then after that it will solve my ABC issue - that's what they believe!) So, next step they come to the forum and ask: how to do XYZ? <-- which is usually, a complete nonsense, they just need to forget it and ask the right question. In plain English, no WP-lingo.

    @sahilwb

    What i see from your Question is that you want your users to post content into your sites, which can be solved by allowing registered users post directly from Frontend.

    It may be possible to redirect www.example.com/wp-admin/post-new.php" to "www.examle.com/submit-article by hard forcing the .htaccess file or editing the WP core

    but that won't solve the problem.

    WordPress › WP User Frontend « WordPress Plugins is a plugin which lets you embed the Add New Post form on the frontend.

    You can create a page with the slug "submit-article" and it work exactly like "Add New Post"

    Hope that helps.

      Thanks for your help. You understood my question. I don't want my user to go in wordpress Dashboard I want to keep him on website and this plugin solved my problem. I am using this front-end user plugin.

      Thanks
