      Hm... Maybe you have slow Internet connection? It loads completely fine with my 20mbit line.

        Yes, the site is extremely slow to load. It freezes over constantly. I tested it on Safari, Chrome and Firefox.

        The page size of your site is 1.6 Mb - which is enormous.

        Here are a few suggestions -

        1. Optimize your images
        The page loads multiple images and it shouldn't do that. Either reduce the number of images or optimize the existing ones on the website.

        2. Add a White Background
        The grey background doesn't look good at all on the black text. Add a fixed with horizontal white background set to repeat vertically for the existing page.

        3. Navigation Alignment
        Move "Privacy Policy" to the bottom and add a Contact us! Make the chronology preferably like -
        Home - About us - Submit Stuff - Geek Store - Contact us!

        4. Reduce the logo size and add a horizontal banner towards the right.
        Your "Call to Action" image at the bottom is OK - but it needs to be in the header and in a better designer format.

        5. Get rid of the clutter
        The existing page is loading up a lot of useless elements and javascripts. Either compress them or get rid of them.
