You can't choose a hosting company and get the hosting free. But there was a free host recommended on the forum a while back and members said it was good with no ads (which is rare for a free host).

Yes, you do get what you pay for - and I wouldn't trust any important files on a free account.

I might be a bit biased as I do website hosting and website design, but I just don't want you to get in trouble with problems with your hosting.

Godaddy is free if you buy the domain name there, but it will have a huge banner plastered acrossed the top of your site.

Yes, once you buy a domain from them they give you a free hosting account.

Now please keep in mind that with a free hosting account they are going to place ads all over your website, and if you are trying to start professional or business website that it is not wise to go with a free hosting at all.
