How to add 'From the desk of' to my sales page/

You wouldn't be able to do it on forum I dont think...

However, if you're using HTML - check out this link for the code :

Tryit Editor v1.6

Edit the text to say from the desk of instead of 'the date is' and you're good to go...

You can dynamically do this with any site. If you are using HTML, you can Javascript to adjust the date. With any other dynamic language (PHP, Ruby, JSP, ASP.NET, etc) you can easily accomplish.

For Wordpress I would imagine you could either add Javascript manually, or get a plugin that would allow you to add the script.

Finally, it should be easy to find plugins for just about any platform to allow you to add this dynamic behavior.

PHP is the most "bulletproof" way to do this, as a tiny percentage of your visitors will have Javascript disabled in their browser (if you use a Javascript solution, it won't work at all for those visitors).

Wherever you want to display the current date and time via PHP, do this...

<?php echo date("l, F jS, g:i A"); ?>

The above code will display in this format...

Sunday, November 25th, 9:39PM

Just make sure that any pages that you use this code on have a .php extension.

And if you want to tweak that code any, here's a list of all the possible parameters...

If you can get your hands on OptimizePress (theme for wordpress) it's a feature..

if not, It's java script coding that you can find on google

I always think that phrase is so cheesy. The minute I see it on a sales page I just want to walk away. Personally I'd leave it out.
