JJ NextGen JQuery Slider - Images aren't showing as it is

Hello everyone,

I'm now using JJ NextGen JQuery Slider and wondering what's going on as I often use this plugin but encountered this problem just now.

If you check this PAGE, the height of the slider is half only. Images are 950x500 but it's displaying just half of the height.

Looking forward for any help there is.

    You probably need to look at the template that is building the slider. Either the page template or go through the plugin files in its editor and change the size of the slider display to match the size of the images.

    That may be too big. I would consider resizing the images to match the slider display size. (Sometimes you still need to do both)

    Note that a lot of sliders display the medium size image. If this is the case you may be able to set it undr your media settings.
    This type of slide show works best when all the pictures are the same size.
    To display ones of different sizes you usually have to find some JavaScript and modify it.

    There is a chance that changing the width and height of the slider display in the css file will work so try that first--its easier.

    It looks fine for me. Which web browser are you using to preview the site?

      I just used the same plugin I used on the homepage's slider.

    The difference I see between the home page slider and the slider on the link you provided, is that the home page slider does not have thumbnails along the bottom. It appears to be in an "auto" slideshow mode without displaying thumbnails.

    Is there some setting that determines whether the slider has thumbs or not? It appears that you may need to configure that independently for each instance of the slider.

      Yes. Since I did a few changes with the setting, they now prefer it than using JJ NextGen JQuery Slider. I'm still wondering what was the problem with. I even deactivated the other plugin but still it didn't work.


      Anyway, this thread is already closed.
