Wordpress headers are not showing

I hope someone can help me.

I uploaded my own header and it is not showing.

I uploaded both PNG and JPG files and neither work.

I then tried to revert back to the default header and now that is not showing either.

Headers show in preview mode, but not when I log out.

I am using the custom WP theme.

I also updated to the latest version of Wordpress.

Any help appreciated.

  • Shame nobody here could solve, but I found a good expert.

    This is what he did...for reference if anyone needs.......

    Caching plugin wp-super cache was behind this problem, i uninstalled it and reinstalled some good one, flushed all caches and installed themes again.


    Updated them,


    Uploaded your header one more time,


    chose it and now working fine.

    I think you will find it is nothing remotely similar to what the expert told me.

    • Well, I am not here to argue with you about whether any tom, dick or harry is an expert or not. I wonder why you are coming back here to call this forum a "shame". This is a free forum, you are getting help for free. You don't have any right to call this forum a "shame" since your question was not answered, since people here are not here to keep you happy and help you with whatever you have. And yes, I disappeared in the middle, coz my Inbox got full, and I have clients on Skype, who "PAY" me, and of course I would give them more attention than you.
  • I'm unsure why I got all these posts when I said an expert solved it.
    You may want to read my post properly and determine where in it I called the forum a shame.
    Please accept you could not solve it and leave it at that.

    Yes you failed to guess what problem was, even you didn't read question properly, troy23 said he uploaded images and its not appearing. not failed to upload.
