Hi, I have website where I upload lots of content but I use only root level directory and never created other folder

for example all my pages are

www. example. com / abc.php

now my root directory has lots of pages.

So, my question is will this cause more page load time for my website.

    Hi,

No, it will not cause longer load times, the use of directories is a good practice for organization, navigation, etc.

Is it too late for you to consider a CMS (wordpress/ Joomla, etc)?
I think what you are doing is going to cause you some headaches down the road.
If your site has been around a long time, there are obvious SEO issues you will have, because of the changes to the URLs.
But if you are considering adding directories, this will happen anyway.
    (ex: example.com/about.php could become example.com/about/me.php)
I know your ACTUAL question was about loading time, but I agree with mgreener that organization is key, especially as the site grows.
    Hope that helps!
for example all my pages are

    www. example. com / abc.php

now my root directory has lots of pages.

No problem for it. If you want to have URL like this:

www. example. com / folder1/ abc.php << its not mean you must create another folder on root.
you just create category for post group that similar. And you change setting of permalink
